Design your commission

Every option is explained. Select what you'd like and your quote updates as you go.

01

Size

All portraits are on archival-quality board. Large pieces vary widely in scope — please enquire for a bespoke quote.

02

Background

The background sets the mood. "None" keeps the focus entirely on your pet against the natural linen canvas.

03

Frame

We highly recommend framing each portrait in UV art glass which protects the collage from fading, dust and dirt.

04

Personal components

Words, photographs and images woven into the collage specific to your pet — their name, favourite walks, the people they love, the things that make them them.

05

Timeline

Tiggy rarely finishes work within 2 months of receiving your deposit. Planning ahead gives the work more time to breathe — and saves you money.

FAQs

Questions I'm always asked

For the composition I need a clear photo with light on the face and especially eyes. You may want to send three or four for me to choose from and often I take elements from a few different pictures.

If you would like photos as elements within your portrait please include more than you want included. Not all are a good size or colour to fit in the composition.

If any are really important to include, please let me know.

Anything meaningful. Their name, the names of people they love, their favourite walk, the word "sausages" if that's what gets them going. Dates, places, snippets of text, patterns from a favourite blanket. Tell me what matters and I'll find a way to include it.

Yes — and some of my most treasured commissions have been exactly that. As long as you have good photographs, I can absolutely work from those.

Entirely up to you. Some clients love seeing the portrait come to life; others prefer the full reveal. I will always share a final photograph before I frame and dispatch.

In all my years of doing this, it hasn't happened. But if you have concerns, we'll talk it through. Minor adjustments can often be made before framing. I won't send you something you don't love.

Carefully wrapped and packed, then sent via tracked and insured courier. There may be a small postage fee depending on size and destination. I'll share tracking details as soon as it's dispatched.

Yes — though international shipping adds cost and time. Please mention in your enquiry that you're outside the UK and I'll give you accurate shipping costs before you commit.

It's one of the most thoughtful gifts imaginable. I can also create a gift card describing the commission if you'd like something physical to present on the day.

I do — my collage portraits began with my own children. Family portraits, children, couples... please get in touch. My schedule is primarily pet portraits but I take a small number of human commissions each year.
